Inter-library Loan Procedures

You can now order Inter-library Loans yourself or library staff will be happy to do the ordering for you.

Follow the link to the Information Network for Ontario and this will bring you to the catologue.  Once there:

• On the left, click on "BibSearch". You can do a simple search or an advanced search.

• Once you have entered the information you are looking for, click on "Submit". (Advance searches narrow down the number of returns you will receive).

• Go through the list of "hits" and find what you are looking for.

• Email the Library that information along with your full name, phone number and your library card number (Your card must be free of any blocks and fines must be under $5.00).

Material should be returned by the due date. There is a fine of $1.00 per day per item for late material.

There is a $5.00 fine for any item not picked up.A renewal must be requested four (4) days prior to the due date. Renewals are at the approval of the lending library. Not all material is renewable.

Material may be picked up and returned to either Quinte West Public Library location. Material may not be returned to Belleville Public Library.

(New books, music CD's, DVD's and some talking books my be difficult to acquire)
