Adult Grab & Go Craft Kit

Each month we offer a free craft kit for adults and teens. The kit includes all the supplies to make the craft and an instruction sheet. Glue may be required. Kits are one per person and while supplies last. Some kits are very popular. A video is posted on our Facebook and Instagram accounts with complete instructions.

NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. NaNoWriMo encourages participants to write 50,000 words in the month of November. Want to give it try? We have created "Survival Kits" to help you through the process and you can register to receive a digital graphic book cover.

Track your Reads in 2020. We will give you a tracker and place a sticker on the display board when you reach milestones; 10, 25, 50, 75, 100.

Several people have already reached 100 books this year.

Cricut Virtual Class

Learn how to use the Cricut December 2 at 6:00-6:45.

This will be a virtual class to learn basics of using the Cricut Maker. Register by emailing Krista at kristar@quintewest.ca or calling 613-394-3381 x3325.

You will receive an email with a link to the class.

Our Cricut Maker is available for borrowing in the library with a library card. You can use our laptop or bring your own.

Fun on the Phone Program

Fun on the Phone is a free, new telephone based program for older adults (50+).

This program is offered jointly by Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre, Quinte West Public Library and City of Belleville Recreation, Culture and Community Services.

It is a weekly, half an hour (1/2 hour) session where an older adult calls into a teleconference line, puts in a participant code and then joins the call. The teleconference call will be led by a staff from one of the organizations and will provide an opportunity for participants to connect with other individuals and to participate in a fun activity.

Registration is required for including a waiver form. Registration packets available through all three organizations.

Groups

Socrates

Join the Socrates group to discuss a topic in the Socrates method of cooperative critical thinking dialogue. The group currently meets virtually the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

Writer's Circle

The Writer's Circle gets together the third Saturday of every month to share their writing. They are currently meeting in person so pre-registering for the meeting is required. Contact Krista at 613-394-3381 x 3325

Book Club

Our Book Club was meeting the first Friday of the month September through June pre Covid. They are currently meeting via email chain. Book are available at our main desk at the beginning of the month. For more information contact our facilitator, Billie at (613) 392-5773.
